Soda ash technology is one of the company's key technologies. Since the 1950s, the company has completed the engineering design and construction of more than 60 sets of soda ash & ammonium chloride co-production plants and ammonia-alkali plants, capacity ranging from 5,000 tons/year to 600,000 tons/year, covering most of the large scale soda ash plants in China. Since the 1990s, the company has driven the export of complete sets of equipment with technology, and has contracted the construction of soda ash projects with the capacities from 50,000 tons/year to 600,000 tons/year in Pakistan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, which has enabled China's soda ash technology to enter international market successfully.

Chlor-alkali technology is also one of our key process technologies. At present, Chengda has completed the engineering design or general contracting of more than 60 sets of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda plants, with capacities ranging from 10,000 tons/year to 600,000 tons/year. The company has contracted and built 7 sets of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda plants in the United States, Indonesia and other countries. As to the downstream industries of chlor-alkali, Chengda has rich experience and performance in VCM and PVC projects and is the most competitive company in China.
