On January 16th, Perusahaan Listrik Negara‌ (PLN) presented two important awards for 2024, namely the "BEST PERFORMANCE POWER PLANT" (Best Operation Award) and the "BEST ACHIEVEMENT POWER PLANT" (Best Achievement Award) for the year 2024, to PT. Graha Power Kaltim‌ (GPK), a company of CNCEC Chengda in Indonesia. The above-mentioned awards aim to commend Chengda GPK company for its outstanding contributions to promoting economic prosperity and ensuring the stability of people's livelihoods, as well as its excellent performance in power generation and services. Among them, the Five-star Best Operation Award represents the highest level of recognition given by the Perusahaan Listrik Negara‌ (PLN) to the annual performance of power generation enterprises within the system. Power generation enterprises that receive this award need to have excellent performance in a number of key indicators, such as frequency regulation, automatic generation control, self-consumed power load, system stability, equivalent availability rate, etc.  

PT. Graha Power Kaltim‌ (GPK) is an overseas BOOT coal-fired power plant project invested and operated by CECEC Chengda. The project is located in Bongtang City, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, and has two 125MW ultra-high voltage parameter coal-fired power generation units. The power plant has been operating efficiently and stably for nearly five years, with a cumulative power generation of 5.916 billion kilowatt hours as of the end of December 2024. The power plant has provided nearly 300 jobs opportunities for the local area, increased government tax revenue, and made important contributions to the power supply, economic development, and social stability in the Kalimantan Island region of Indonesia.
