Recently, the phase III storage tank project of Beijing Gas Tianjin Nangang LNG Emergency Reserve Project, which is led by CNCEC Chengda as the EPC general contractor, has been successfully put into operation. Two LNG membrane tanks with a capacity of 220,000 cubic meters each are operating stably at a high liquid level. This project is an important part of the construction of the national natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system. After operation, it will significantly enhance the emergency peak shaving and supply guarantee capabilities of natural gas in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

As one of the first large-scale onshore LNG membrane tank construction projects in China, the company has scientifically coordinated and carefully organized a project team composed of technical backbones, with the requirements of "high standards, high starting points, and high quality", and carried out various work in an orderly manner according to the schedule. In terms of key quality indicators such as concrete outer tank permeability control and overall leakage control of membrane inner tank, the project has met or exceeded industry standards, demonstrating the company's excellent engineering quality.
The project team has significantly shortened the BOG replacement time by continuously optimizing the commissioning path for feeding materials. It only took 11 days to successfully commission two membrane tanks at one time, and at the same time, achieved "zero venting" after the natural gas replacement reached 100% LEL. The commissioning and operational monitoring data shows that the online monitoring of methane content in the storage tank membrane system has always been zero, which indicates that all technical indicators of the storage tank phase III project have reached the leading level in the industry.
