On March 20th, the signing ceremony for the world's largest single line caustic soda plant and the largest high and low temperature oxychloride EDC project in Southeast Asia, undertaken by Chengda in EPC general contracting mode, was successfully held.

This project is another major breakthrough of Chengda in Indonesia's traditional market, and also the first large-scale caustic soda + EDC compound project undertaken by Chinese engineering companies overseas. It has achieved a new breakthrough of Chengda’s overseas products, and is also another major initiative of Chengda to actively implement the national "the Belt and Road" initiative. After the completion of the project, it will become the largest single line caustic soda plant in the world and the largest high and low temperature oxychloride EDC plant in Southeast Asia, fully reflecting Chengda's leading position in the domestic and international chlor alkali engineering market.
